This morning Chauncey called me on his way home from work and said I had to come meet him on Wacker to see a parade. So I grabbed my camera and ran out the door.
The Lion's Club was celebrating 100 years today. 10,000 parade participants from 125 countries marched. It was awesome seeing each country dressed up and filled with so much energy. Individual country pride was abundant but matched in enthusiam by a palpable sense of global community.
We weren't able to see the whole thing, only a small portion for about 45 minutes but here are my top 10 photos!
